Make a Joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye
Serve the Lord with gladness:
Come into His presence with singing

Psalm 100

Community of Sugarcreek, Ohio
September 29, 2019
Worship: 10:00-11:00a.m.

We believe in Jesus and take his life, teachings, death and resurrection as the model fo how we live and the message we proclaim.
We seek to be a caring and discerning community,
the gathered body of Christ,
that welcomes all to join in worship, study, and service.

We embody God’s transforming and redeeming Spirit in the world through our prophetic witness and action.

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.

Serve the Lord with gladness:

Come into His presence with singing.

“Praise to the Lord, the Almighty” Hymnal a Worship Book #37, vs. 1

Reader 1 Bruce Stauffer: Psalm 150: Praise the Lord. Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty heavens. Praise Him for His surpassing greatness. Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, Praise Him with the harp and lyre, Praise Him with tambourine and dancing, Praise Him with the strings and flute, Praise Him with the clash of cymbals.

All: Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.

“Praise to the Lord, the Almighty” Hymnal a Worship Book #37, vs. 2

Reader 2 Barb Debord: Psalm 96:1-3, 11-13a: Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all people. Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound, and all that is in it; let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them.

All: Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy; they will sing before the Lord. . .

“Praise to the Lord, the Almighty” Hymnal a Worship Book #37, vs. 3

Reader 3 Mike Gehman: Psalm 98: 1, 4-9a: Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things; his right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him. Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn—shout for joy before the Lord, the King. Let the sea resound, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it. Let the river clap their hands, let the mountains sing together for joy;

All: Let them praise before the Lord. . .
